KFF Health News has been reporting over the last year on the significant number of adults across the U.S. (44%) who are burdened with medical bills they cannot pay.
Our colleagues at Colorado media outlets The Colorado Sun, 9News, Colorado Newsline and The Sentinel are preparing for coverage focused on how medical debt is impacting Coloradans, especially those in the state’s ZIP codes where demographic disparities are the greatest: 80216 and 80219.
